Our stay was great. The staff are so nice and helpful, from the doorman, to the restaurants, the bar, and the front desk. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location is perfect for getting around Dublin. We looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Will stay again.

The restaurant area was being re-furbed during our stay and we hadn't been informed of this. It meant the bar was used as a dining room so not suitable for a pre-evening meet up spot, and the breakfast area was noisy, cold and had queues. Once seated breakfast was accompanied by the sound of tiling saws in use (why not delay the noisy, dusty work til after eating hours?) That aside the hotel was OK but nothing special. Rooms are tired, breakfast underwhelming (tinned fruit and filter coffee - the coffee machine is extra. that's extra to the extra already paid for breakfast). Seems to be popular with large coach groups but for smaller groups there are better options in the city centre.

It's difficult to give a rating as we didn't make it to our room until much later. Upon arrival for check-in, we were informed that there was a delay in preparing our room. After waiting for a while with no progress, we were given drinks vouchers as compensation. This delay caused a major inconvenience as we had a table reserved in town to watch a rugby match, which we ultimately lost. We had to change in a restroom and leave our luggage in a storage area. In essence, we paid nearly €300 for just a bed, and it would have been more beneficial to book a hostel instead. Despite the situation, the staff were very kind, and we enjoyed the bar area while waiting. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience to visit my friends on my birthday and not have any time to enjoy the hotel or a proper place to change.

The hotel felt so welcoming from the minute you walk in. The receptionist welcomed us in with a warm welcome and booked us in very quickly, explaining everything clearly. Our room was lovely very spacious and clean, the whole hotel was. We had a lovely super Queen bed, which was lovely and pillows were so comfory We had a brilliant night sleep.They had thought of everything. In the bathroom which was lovely and spacious as well, with a bath, power shower and a hand held one. We wern't just given 2 bath and a hand towel,bath mat for outside, but a spare towel for my hair, rubber mat to go inside the bath, 2 flannels and toiletries also two hairdryers . Also given complementary tea and coffee on a lovely tray, also 2 biscuits and 2 bottles of water.You can ask for refills if you want. We was given paper cups at first, but when we went downstairs to ask for more cups, we was given 2 china cups and spoons. You can get most channels on the tv. The resturants were lovely and the food was very good. Breakfast was excellent and even as a vegetarian I had plenty to choose from. The staff were all lovely and hardworking. They even got me a jug of soya milk and offered to warm it up for me. They had gluten free cereal, croissants and muffins. We had a lovely view over looking the river. The bus station is only a 10 min walk up the road, where you can also catch the tram into the town central , the fare was only £1.70 one way, which is a lot cheaper than a cab, it's about a 45mins walk, which on a lovely day is a pleasant walk, with loads to look at on the way. On our last day we had paid for breakfast but then realised we would be leaving long before breakfast started 4.30am , so they did a lovely pack lunch for us. I would definitely be returning again and recommend it to my friends and family.

This is my second time staying here. I love how centrally located it is and how easy to get to places. The staff is so friendly and the rooms are perfect. I love staying here. Breakfast is delicious and has so many options. I can't wait to come back and stay here again.
